In dialogue with Fleetronic, IT Outsourcing Asia did the technical analysis and re engineered the software as described below. We also integrated 3thd party scripts for GPS-tracking, Mobile Devices, Charts and Geo Mapping Tools.

Goal for the reengineered track and trace software

Fleetronic wanted to add new functionality and structure the code and database in such a way that;

• Everything would run faster, necessary for the increased functionality.
• To assure that the code can be maintained, upgraded by every experienced PHP programmer (proper use of comments, classes, styles)
• The software is ready for future customizations to personalize the service for every client.

Electronic devices

The Fleetronic software uses electronic devices, Smart Boxes including a GPS positioning system and a cell phone to send SMS/GPRS messages to report the changes to an online password secured management tool.

Action Module

The action module opens a lot of opportunities. Thanks to sensors the STP Module can be linked to the Fleetronic software and actions can be taken for example to block a motor when a car stands still when the car is stolen or to send a SMS/GPRS message to the service company when the cooling system of a meat cool installation does not work properly.
